  1. In a mixer jar put the fresh coconut bits, roasted gram dal, garlic, tamarind salt and water. Grind them well..
  2. In a tempering pan add oil, when hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and when it splutters add it the grinded coconut mixture..
  3. Mix well and serve with idly, dosa, pongal, vada etc….
