  12. Provide 1 tsp of Sugar – to taste optional.
  13. Provide 2 tsp of Lemon juice.
  14. You need 2 tbsp of Green coriander.
  15. Prepare of For Tempering.
  16. Provide 3 tablespoon of Oil.
  17. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Mustard seeds (Rai).
  18. Take 1 teaspoon of Cumin seeds (Jeera).
  19. Take 1 teaspoon of Sesame seeds (Til).
  20. Prepare 2 tbsp of Green coriander (Hara dhaniya) (chopped).

Steps to make Baked Handvo:

  1. Wash and soak the rice and dals together for 4 to 5 hours. Drain and keep aside. Grind to a paste well.Allow to ferment overnight or at least 6-8 hrs..
  2. Add grated vegetables, turmeric powder and salt to the fluffed mixture and mix well. Taste and check seasonings. Also, mix eno/baking powder at this time and mix well.

  4. To prepare tempering, heat oil in a small pan. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds and sesame seeds. Turn off flame. Pour tadka of batter.
